Krautkraemer manages the family’s resources and provides (mainly angel size) investments to high-tech start-up companies in Europe. Further services are consulting focused on funding and growth management for (mainly but not exclusively technology based) start-ups as well as interim management and governance.
Born 1956 in Europe, education in Germany, UK, France and USA in technology (computer sciences) , economics (mba) and philosophy of economics (Hagen).
International industrial experience from seawater desalination and super mini computer systems, developing the first electronic ticketing & boarding system (etix) as co-founder with a Swiss based corporate venture in Germany & USA. Selling the company to its corporate venture, Josef returned to the computer industry in various international management positions for European, Japanese and US-American companies. Main activities are in mobile computing, security, gaming and ITC. With the millennium change he retired from industry to manage the family office and concentrate on supporting young entrepreneurs. Advisory board member in various companies, listed Investor and Coach at KfW-ERP programme and HTGF. Technology surveyor / expert third-party at European FP7 programme.
